It’s normal to want good things to happen immediately but happiness only reveals itself when you’re genuinely ready for it. For example: You can’t be truly happy in a romantic relationship if you don’t know how to treat yourself well and aren’t in touch with the real, healthy you. Instead, you’ll tend to attract people who are a match for your actual thinking and behaviors, not who you wish you were or pretend to be.
Being happy is about constantly and consistently improving yourself and becoming the healthiest, most balanced you possible. It means courageously working on the challenges you don’t want to face and learning from each experience. What will you do to be ready to accept happiness into your life?
